Speech Therapist in Cicero, IL
Make an impact supporting students throughout the Chicago area as a full-time, bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a dynamic, multi-site school network. This contract role provides the opportunity to deliver essential speech and language services, working closely within school communities serving grades PreK–8. You’ll operate in person, offering direct support to diverse learners and collaborating with dedicated educational teams.

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure as required for school-based practice
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (required)
- Prior experience in school settings highly desirable
- Strong collaboration, assessment, and intervention skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive, student-centered practice
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and interventions for students across grades PreK-8
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district standards
- Participate in special education meetings and school professional development
- Adapt communication and supports to suit diverse student populations and language needs
