Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Warwick, Rhode Island

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress accepted
- Previous experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads highly valued
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and families to support students’ IEP goals and promote academic success
- Provide direct therapy to students in individual and/or small group settings
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide input as an SLP specialist
- Stay current with best practices and professional development relevant to school-aged populations
