Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain RI licensure)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting is advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for students with communication disorders
  • Deliver individual and group speech therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success
  • Maintain all required documentation and progress notes in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Engage in IEP meetings and contribute valuable input to student support plans
