Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in progress with a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Background or strong interest in pediatric therapy, preferably with school-based experience
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and school settings

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop tailored treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions individually or in groups, fostering measurable progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support students’ academic and social success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and prepare necessary reports in compliance with regulatory and school standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations to optimize educational outcomes
  • Stay current with evidence-based practices, continuing education, and professional development
