Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Previous experience in a school environment is preferred, though strong new graduates are welcome
- Strong ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student populations
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Work closely with teachers, other therapists, and families to support educational and developmental goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional guidance on communication disorders
- Maintain clear documentation on student progress and compliance with all regulations
- Contribute ideas and resources for school-wide communication initiatives
