What we’re looking for:
- Active SLP license (Rhode Island)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous experience working with school-aged children—K-12 experience is highly valued
- Ability to provide both direct therapy and indirect consultative services in alignment with IEPs
- Clear communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational skills with a collaborative spirit
Your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to students across kindergarten through 12th grade
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state standards
- Serve as a resource for the school community in supporting students’ communication needs
