Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred; CFY candidates welcome to apply
- Active or eligible Speech-Language Pathology license for Rhode Island
- Previous experience in school settings is a plus, but not required
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting children with diverse communication needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and/or communication assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families for holistic student support
- Maintain accurate therapy notes, evaluation records, and required documentation
- Offer progress updates and participate in IEP meetings
