Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services for an elementary caseload during the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, onsite role includes supporting students across general education and specialized programming, including two autism program classrooms located within the school.
Responsibilities
Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
Conduct evaluations and comprehensive assessments
Develop and implement IEP goals
Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers
Support students with a variety of communication needs, including those in autism-specific programs
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathology License or eligibility for Virginia licensure
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply if eligible for Virginia licensure
Previous school-based and/or autism program experience preferred
Virginia Requirements
Candidates must meet Virginia licensure requirements for Speech-Language Pathologists and be eligible to practice within public school settings.
