Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a full‑time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an elementary school for the 26/27 school year. This position serves two elementary schools and offers a well‑rounded mix of screenings, therapy, IEP development, and collaboration with staff and families.
Position Overview

- Contract Dates: August 25, 2026 – June 11, 2027
- Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
- School Assignments: 2 elementary schools
- Licensure Required: Michigan SLP license
- SLP-CCC preferred, SLP‑CFY accepted
Caseload & Job Responsibilities
- This role supports elementary‑aged students across two campuses and includes a variety of school‑based SLP duties:
- Provide screenings for students suspected of speech or language impairments
- Conduct assessments and evaluations
- Develop, write, and implement IEPs
- Deliver direct therapy services for mild–moderate communication needs
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents/guardians
- Maintain documentation and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
Ideal Candidate
- The district is seeking an SLP who is confident working independently across multiple school sites and comfortable supporting elementary‑aged learners.
