What We're Looking For:
- Active Michigan SLP license (required)
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience or strong interest in school-based pediatric therapy
- Knowledge of best practices in speech and language interventions for children and adolescents
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams and communicate effectively with families
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students with communication disorders, tailored to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop targeted intervention strategies
- Maintain clear, accurate records of evaluations, progress, and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, staff, and parents to set and achieve student goals
- Provide resources, training, and support for educators and families to facilitate communication success in the classroom
