Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Ypsilanti, Michigan

A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a contract role with a school-based team near Ypsilanti, MI. This rewarding opportunity runs from August 12th, 2024 through February 2027, with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility in Michigan
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status supported
- Experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEPs, progress monitoring, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Core Duties:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students of varying ages and abilities
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to meet student needs
- Provide direct therapy (group and individual), both in-person and as needed for remote learning supports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate communication goals into classroom activities
- Maintain accurate documentation for Medicaid billing, evaluations, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff conferences, and professional development opportunities
