What You’ll Bring:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license in Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working within multidisciplinary teams
- Organizational abilities to manage caseloads, deadlines, and documentation efficiently
What You’ll Do:
- Screen, assess, and diagnose a variety of speech and language disorders in students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each child’s needs
- Provide direct and consultative services to support student progress
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to foster a supportive learning environment
- Document progress and maintain thorough, up-to-date records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Advocate for students and promote awareness of communication needs within the school community
