Speech and Language Pathologist in Warren, MI
Make a meaningful impact supporting students by bringing your expertise as a School Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract role offers the opportunity to work onsite for the upcoming school year, with possible extension for ESY. There are two openings available, both providing flexibility within a 35-hour work week. Most caseloads are elementary and middle grades, but you’ll have the chance to support students spanning PreK through 12th grade.
You’ll play a vital role in helping students build effective communication and academic skills. This role requires autonomy, so you should feel confident managing all traditional SLP responsibilities independently. Your experience will support students’ growth and success across several schools.
Who thrives in this role:
- Holds an active Michigan SLP license (a screenshot of current licensure required)
- Has completed SLP-CCC credentials
- Is experienced within school-based settings, working directly with pediatric and adolescent populations
- Demonstrates flexibility and enthusiasm for working with diverse student groups (PreK-12)
- Communicates effectively with staff, parents, and students
- Delivers all required SLP services, including screenings, evaluations, IEP participation, direct therapy, progress reporting, and collaboration
- Adapts to multiple sites and age groups seamlessly
- Enjoys working independently while staying highly organized
