Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP license; eligible for work in elementary education settings
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are also encouraged to apply
- Experience with pediatric speech-language disorders in school environments is highly valued
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Collaborative attitude and effective communication with teachers, parents, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for elementary students, identifying needs and tracking progress
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans supporting students’ IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and small group settings
- Maintain timely, detailed records and documentation in compliance with school requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing observations and recommendations as part of the student support team
- Engage with families and staff to deliver information, strategies, and resources for student success
This position offers consistent school-day hours from 8:50 a.m. to 4:10 p.m., aligning well with work-life balance and allowing you to focus your energy on nurturing student growth within the school community.
