Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Warren, Michigan

Key qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid SLP licensure and eligibility for work in a school setting
- Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) welcomed, though Clinical Fellow Year (SLP-CFY) candidates are also encouraged to apply
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and elementary-age speech-language therapy
- Skill in conducting assessments, developing and implementing IEPs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Effective communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to a caseload of 45-55 elementary school students (grades K-5)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and utilize results to create individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and participation
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student goals, session data, and progress reports
- Implement evidence-based interventions and monitor student achievement
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies
