What We're Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility
- Prior experience providing SLP services in school settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication difficulties
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring SLP services
- Deliver direct therapy to elementary-aged students, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress
- Document evaluations, interventions, and student performance in accordance with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and supportive school environment
This is an excellent opportunity for SLPs who want to focus on direct therapy and work with young learners in an elementary school setting. The role is a full-time contract assignment, providing valuable experience in a supportive educational environment.
