Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Active state licensure as an SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA
  • Experience in pediatric or adolescent populations, especially in school-based settings
  • Ability to tailor evaluation and intervention strategies for the needs of secondary students
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Organizational ability to manage therapy planning, documentation, and progress monitoring
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy to students in grades 9–12
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and document progress according to established guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, developing measurable goals and delivering related services
  • Engage in ongoing communication with school staff and families to support student achievement
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with state and district policies
  • Embrace opportunities for mentorship or learning, whether as an experienced SLP/SLPA or a CFY candidate
