Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Active state licensure as an SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA
- Experience in pediatric or adolescent populations, especially in school-based settings
- Ability to tailor evaluation and intervention strategies for the needs of secondary students
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Organizational ability to manage therapy planning, documentation, and progress monitoring
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy to students in grades 9–12
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and document progress according to established guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, developing measurable goals and delivering related services
- Engage in ongoing communication with school staff and families to support student achievement
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and district policies
- Embrace opportunities for mentorship or learning, whether as an experienced SLP/SLPA or a CFY candidate
