Speech Language Pathologist in Ventura, CA

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs considered
- Prior school-based experience is highly valued
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Comfortable managing a K-12 caseload and tailoring interventions for diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments for students with speech and language challenges
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for speech-language services
- Deliver evidence-based therapy, both in small groups and one-on-one sessions
- Maintain accurate records and complete documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in IEP meetings
- Communicate progress and strategies to parents, teachers, and other professionals
