Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Ventura, CA
Exciting opportunities await skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA) in beautiful California! Multiple contract positions are available now and for the upcoming school year, making this a perfect time to advance your career in a supportive educational environment.
Step into a role where you’ll work full-time (35-40 hours per week) with dedicated professionals and have the chance to impact up to 50 students. Positions span one to two school sites and include the support of another experienced SLP at each location. Both SLPs—including Clinical Fellows (CFY)—and SLPA candidates are encouraged to apply. Teletherapy experience is also valued for candidates interested in remote support. Contracts run through June 17, 2026, with a strong likelihood of renewal for the following year.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid California licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA
- Previous experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings preferred
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload (up to 50 students)
- Teletherapy skills welcome
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists on student support
- Maintain accurate records and track student progress
- Participate in Google Meet interviews and virtual meetings as needed
