Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- California state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting students with diverse communication needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to K-12 students
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state policies
- Supervise and delegate tasks appropriately to SLPAs, ensuring quality service delivery
- Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to student support planning
