Qualifications/Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active California SLP license (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized education and therapy plans tailored to students’ needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to facilitate holistic support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with state and district regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Offer consultation and resources to school staff as needed
