Speech Language Pathologist in Veneta, OR
Step into an impactful role supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity, running from August 31, 2026, to June 15, 2027, welcomes both part-time and full-time professionals with a commitment to fostering student success. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Oregon SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience or strong interest in serving K-12 students in a school-based setting
- Open to School Speech Language Pathologists (SLP), Clinical Fellows (SLP-CCC), or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) with relevant school experience
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to address student needs
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
- Provide support and supervision to SLPAs as needed
