Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Vacaville, California

You’ll work a consistent schedule from 7:45 am to 4:15 pm—with a daily 30-minute duty-free lunch—and manage a maximum caseload of 55 students, primarily at a single school site. Our district values collaboration and innovation, serving a wide range of learners across eight schools.
Qualifications & Experience
- Current California Speech-Language Pathology license required
- SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and SLPs with pediatric, healthcare, and/or school-based experience encouraged to apply
- Passion for supporting children’s speech and language development
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers and administrators
- Previous school-based SLP experience is a plus
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide individualized and small-group direct therapy to students PreK–5th grade
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop treatment plans
- Review and monitor student progress, adapting interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain thorough, compliant documentation
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
- Engage with parents, teachers, and support staff to deliver comprehensive care
