Speech Language Pathologist in San Jose, CA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active California SLP license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
- Experience with high school or pediatric populations preferred
- Proficiency in school-based documentation and IEP processes
- Teletherapy experience is a plus, though onsite presence is required
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Applicants with SLPA experience in healthcare settings are also encouraged
Position Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain timely and accurate records in accordance with school requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal setting
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week onsite. You’ll have the chance to build rapport with students throughout the full academic year, offering consistency and support that leads to real progress.
