Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to assignment)
- Experience working with K-12 students, especially those with mild to moderate speech and language needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet individualized student goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with a range of speech, language, and communication challenges
- Provide direct therapy sessions in accordance with IEP goals and state requirements
- Collaborate with educational teams, including teachers and families, to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain progress documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer support, strategies, and resources to staff and caregivers to foster student success
