Speech Language Pathologist in Uxbridge, MA
An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to make a lasting impact within a supportive school environment. This full-time, onsite position involves serving a preschool caseload, covering a maternity leave from January through the end of the school year. You’ll work closely with young learners to help support their communication and developmental goals, collaborating with passionate staff and families in a nurturing atmosphere.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows considered
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in school settings
- Strong evaluation, documentation, and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to preschool students on site
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and deliver therapy sessions in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and family members to support student progress
- Maintain timely and thorough records and documentation
- Contribute to team meetings and participate in multidisciplinary support for each child
- Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive therapy environment
