Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid Texas SLP licensure (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation)
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (if hours logged)
- AT (Assistive Technology) experience, specifically with eye gaze technology and Accent devices (programming, calibration, and maintenance)
- Prior experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to provide references as required for credentialing
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct on-site SLP services at the high school, with a focus on eye gaze AAC devices
- Program, calibrate, and maintain the Accent eye gaze device as needed for the assigned student
- Offer indirect AT support to the student’s educational team, including staff training and troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate, timely service documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Attend team meetings or consultations as requested
