Desired Background:
- SLP-CCC credentials preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
- Experience in school settings as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Familiarity with K-12 caseloads and flexibility to work across multiple school sites
- Strong understanding of ARD processes and documentation requirements
- Ability to start quickly and transition into an established team
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student needs
What You'll Do:
- Provide speech-language or occupational therapy services to K-12 students across the district
- Participate in and help lead ARD meetings, ensuring compliance and advocacy for student plans
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Travel between campuses as needed to address caseload and fulfill district needs
- Maintain thorough documentation and communicate professionally with all stakeholders
