Speech Language Pathologist in Schertz, TX

Desired Qualifications: • Current or eligible Texas licensure as an SLP (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY), or SLPA • Experience in a school setting preferred, but strong new graduates will be considered • Comprehensive understanding of speech-language evaluation, intervention, and documentation • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team • Commitment to supporting children of diverse backgrounds and individual needs
Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify communication needs • Develop and implement personalized intervention plans • Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and timely reports • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals • Offer consultative support and resources to teachers and families to promote generalization of skills
