Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Schertz, TX
Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication skills throughout the 2026-2027 academic year in a dynamic, contract-based speech-language pathologist position. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and are passionate about helping children thrive in a school setting. With 37.5 hours per week, you’ll play a central role in assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and parents to ensure every student’s success. Multiple positions are available now, including immediate placement for the remainder of the current school year.
Qualified candidates will have the option to work as either a monolingual or Spanish-English bilingual SLP. If pursuing one of the bilingual roles, you’ll be vetted by our Lead SLP for Spanish language proficiency to ensure optimal support for diverse learners.
Ideal Experience & Credentials:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid CCC-SLP certification required
- Eligibility for speech-language pathology licensure
- Previous experience working in a school-based environment preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
- Bilingual proficiency (Spanish-English) encouraged, but not required
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary educational teams
- Conduct progress monitoring and maintain thorough records
- Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings
- Deliver speech-language therapy services in group and individual settings
- Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress
