Position Overview:
Full-time, school-based contract role
Location: San Antonio, Texas area
Assignment for the upcoming school year
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
Active Texas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), preferred or required depending on district
Texas Educator Certification in Speech-Language Pathology, if required by the district
Compliance with all Texas state and local district requirements
Successful completion of background check and fingerprinting
Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Typical Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Provide direct and indirect speech therapy services in individual and group settings
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations
Support communication development goals across educational settings
Adjust therapy plans based on student progress and data analysis
