Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) for a full-time position for the upcoming school year with school districts in the San Antonio, Texas area. This school-based opportunity is ideal for professionals who are passionate about supporting student communication development and collaborating within multidisciplinary educational teams.

Position Overview:

  • Full-time, school-based contract role

  • Location: San Antonio, Texas area

  • Assignment for the upcoming school year

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field

  • Active Texas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), preferred or required depending on district

  • Texas Educator Certification in Speech-Language Pathology, if required by the district

  • Compliance with all Texas state and local district requirements

  • Successful completion of background check and fingerprinting

  • Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Provide direct and indirect speech therapy services in individual and group settings

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success

  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations

  • Support communication development goals across educational settings

  • Adjust therapy plans based on student progress and data analysis
