School Speech Language Pathologist - Tyrone, Pennsylvania
Step into a dynamic contract role supporting the communication needs of students across three school buildings serving kindergarten through 12th grade. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred
- Previous experience in school-based settings is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy across three campuses, addressing a caseload of approximately 55 thirty-minute sessions per week (16 individual, 37 group)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in consultation with educational staff and families
- Conduct dynamic assessments and maintain comprehensive documentation to monitor progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers and support personnel to ensure integrated student support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute observations and expertise to facilitate student success
