Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply.
  • Arizona state licensure (or eligibility).
  • Experience or a strong interest in working with pediatric and school-based populations.
  • Expertise or willingness to learn about Assistive and Augmentative Communication (AAC) in educational settings.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs and school goals.
  • Deliver therapy sessions using evidence-based practices, both individually and in groups.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, therapists, and the AAC specialist to ensure integrated care.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and participate in IEP meetings.
  • Provide guidance and resources to staff and families, fostering a positive and communicative learning environment.
