Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in a school setting
- Previous experience with middle school-aged children is highly desirable
- Understanding of IEP process and compliance
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a caseload of 59 middle school students
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations as required
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Consult with classroom teachers to support student success
- Communicate clearly with families regarding student progress and recommendations
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
