This full-time, contract position offers a 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, providing consistency, collaboration, and dedicated student engagement. Preferred candidates will also bring the ability to supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), further expanding the impact of the school’s speech services team. New Clinical Fellows will find a welcome environment for beginning their professional journey.
Qualifications:
- Current Arizona SLP license
- Department of Education certification
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Experience working with pediatric populations (strongly preferred)
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), CCCs, or eligibility for either
- Leadership skills for SLPA supervision (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students in a school setting
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain comprehensive records, progress notes, and documentation to support student success
- Provide supervision and mentorship to SLPA team members when required
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute positively to the school community
