Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license and educator certification in Alabama (refer to the state certification portal for verification).
- CCC-SLP credentials required for some positions; strong consideration given to experienced CF candidates.
- Previous work in school-based settings strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60 students across multiple school sites.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff.
- Commitment to equitable, compassionate service for diverse student populations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students as outlined in IEPs.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and parents to support academic and social success.
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress reporting.
- Travel onsite to assigned schools in the area as needed, ensuring consistent service delivery during regular school hours.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.
