School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Trussville, Alabama

With three available roles, you can choose the setting that best fits your expertise and interests—all are dedicated onsite positions with manageable caseloads.
Position Highlights:
- 3 available roles:
• Full-time at a high school
• Split between two elementary schools
• Split between a middle and elementary school - Caseloads are approximately 60 students
- Contract spans the full school year (August 4, 2026 – May 27, 2027)
- 37.5 hours per week, providing a stable schedule
- Onsite work only—engage directly and foster relationships with students and staff
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF)
- Active Alabama SLP license
- Alabama SLP Educator certification (verification available on the state website)
- Experience delivering school-based or K-12 services preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload and collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive language, speech, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and support staff
- Track student progress and document all services provided
- Participate in IEP and team meetings as needed
- Provide both individual and group interventions
