Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid and active VA Speech-Language Pathology licensure required
- Previous experience in a school setting highly valued, but not mandatory
- Ability to start the Virginia Department of Social Services background check promptly
- Must provide proof of a recent TB test as required by Virginia regulations
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language assessment and therapy for students at various educational levels
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary school teams
- Maintain detailed documentation of services and student progress in accordance with district guidelines
- Engage and communicate regularly with families, teachers, and administrators to support student growth
- Stay current with evidence-based practices and participate in ongoing professional development
