Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly desired
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and work closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Dedication to fostering communication skills in diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
- Design and deliver individualized and group therapy sessions aligned with student IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive care
- Monitor and document student progress; participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input
- Offer resources and support to educators to facilitate carry-over of strategies in the classroom
- Maintain compliance with state, district, and professional standards
