Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants welcome
- Experience supporting pediatric populations in educational settings
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to provide both direct therapy and consultation services within a school-based framework
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs using appropriate assessment tools
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s IEP goals
- Deliver therapy sessions to students individually or in small groups, supporting their academic and social success
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in meetings with parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Consult with teachers and staff to facilitate strategies that improve classroom communication and participation
- Contribute to a collaborative school culture focused on inclusion and student growth
