Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from preschool through 8th grade. You'll make a meaningful difference as you provide speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 55 students, working closely with educators and families to nurture communication skills and foster academic growth. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current or pending California SLP licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or strong interest in working with diverse student populations across grades preschool through 8th
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with providing therapy in a school-based setting preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services—both individual and group sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to support student achievement
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Provide guidance and resources to teachers and parents for carryover of skills
- Maintain compliance with school and state regulations
This full-time contract position runs from August 6, 2026, through June 4, 2027, offering a school calendar you can count on. You'll be part of an encouraging and professional team focused on student success, with opportunities for both personal and career development.
