School Speech Language Pathologist - Folsom, CA

This contract role involves working at multiple school sites, with locations ranging from El Dorado Hills to Camino. Candidates should be prepared to travel between locations and are required to provide services onsite. There is flexibility to accommodate CFs and SLPAs, provided that appropriate onsite SLP supervision is available. Caseloads span mild to moderate, with occasional potential for more severe needs and will vary by assignment.
Preferred applicants will have experience in California schools and familiarity with the SEIS system, although these are not mandatory. The only licensure requirement is a valid California SLP license. This district is welcoming to travel professionals, with Sacramento and Lake Tahoe easily accessible for weekend adventures or relaxation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid CA SLP license required
- CCC preferred; supervision experience is a plus
- Comfortable with travel and working at different sites
- Experience with school-based SLP services across mild/moderate caseloads (some severe cases possible)
- SEIS experience and knowledge of CA school systems is preferred
- Openness to itinerant roles and frequently changing assignments
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to students onsite
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with special education and SEIS guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Supervise SLPAs and/or clinical fellows as needed
- Adjust services and support based on varying caseloads and student needs
