Speech Language Pathologist in Placerville, CA

This engaging position offers the chance to work as a School-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with multiple assignments and locations throughout the district, which stretches from El Dorado Hills to Camino. As your school site assignments may shift during the semester, adaptability and a passion for supporting diverse student populations are essential.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid California SLP license; CCCs preferred, but strong CFs and SLPAs are encouraged to apply (onsite supervision provided)
- Previous school-based and SEIS experience is advantageous
- Comfortable working with mild to moderate, and occasionally severe, caseloads
- Willing and able to travel within the district—this role could be itinerant
- Onsite commitment required
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, develop goals, and provide direct and consultative speech/language therapy for assigned caseloads
- Manage and document student progress in compliance with district and state standards
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain organized, up-to-date records
- Adjust to changes in site placement and caseload as needed throughout the school year
