This on-site contract opportunity calls for a dedicated professional to serve students at one or more elementary and middle school locations, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to support communication development. You’ll work full-time during the academic year in an environment focused on collaboration and student growth.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active North Carolina NCDPI SLP license (confirmation required)
- SLP-CCC credential required; SLP CFs and SLPAs are not eligible
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Demonstrated expertise with ECATS (essential)
- Experience working in K–12 school settings preferred
- Skilled in maintaining compliance records and documentation
- Proficient with Infinite Campus (a plus)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy aligned with individualized IEP goals for PreK–12th grade students
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and prepare thorough reports
- Create, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on student data
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with faculty, families, and other professionals
- Accurately and promptly document services, progress notes, and student outcomes
- Oversee caseloads at assigned schools, supporting diverse learners
- Utilize ECATS and Infinite Campus systems for scheduling, reporting, and compliance
- Provide classroom support and consultative services as needed
- Stay current with state, district, and federal guidelines, ensuring full regulatory compliance
