Step into a rewarding opportunity impacting young learners as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. Serving vibrant communities near Temple, TX, these roles offer two unique settings—supporting students in either a district with a diverse education spectrum or focusing on a general education population.

In Bartlett, you’ll provide speech-language services across the entire district, working with approximately 40 students. Your caseload will include elementary-aged children in life skills classes and middle/high school students in general education. This position allows you to foster communication skills across a range of developmental and educational needs.

Alternatively, the Troy opening provides full-time hours. You’ll also serve the full district, engaging primarily with a general education student body. Both opportunities welcome Clinical Fellows and offer dedicated supervision to help you grow professionally.

Qualifications & Preferred Background:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Texas SLP license; CCCs preferred, but Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
  • Experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads ideal
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Compassion for supporting children with a range of communication disorders

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized intervention plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation in alignment with school district requirements
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide supportive supervision (if applicable) and guidance to students and staff
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success strategies
