Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Experience working with school-aged children, ideally in a K-8 setting
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Collaborative approach and openness to working within multi-disciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students within the K-8 district, adapting to individual needs
- Assess, diagnose, and create treatment plans for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Conduct evaluations and maintain accurate, detailed documentation in compliance with district and state standards
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide consultative support and strategies for educators and parents to enhance student learning
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing program evaluation
