Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Arizona
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Prior experience in a school setting or with K-8 student populations preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities with students, staff, and families
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among K-8 students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs that support students’ academic and social success
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to provide holistic support and progress reporting
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and ongoing data collection to monitor growth and adjust plans as needed
- Offer direct therapy services in both individual and group formats
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings and professional development opportunities
