Virtual Speech Language Pathologist in PA
A contract opportunity is available to provide speech-language pathology services in a school setting located in York, PA, supporting students with various learning needs. This role focuses on delivering specialized speech services to three classrooms: two Autistic Support classrooms at a northeastern site and one Learning Support classroom at a technical school, serving a total of 56 students.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy to students with autism and learning support needs.
- Delivering services either onsite as a fully certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or remotely through teletherapy with an SLP Assistant (SLPA) as part of the service model.
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintaining compliance with Pennsylvania state certification and teaching certification requirements.
- Managing case documentation and progress reporting in accordance with school and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and experience sought:
- Valid Pennsylvania state Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Pennsylvania teaching certification in related area.
- CCC preferred; Certified Fellows (CFs) considered with agency supervision fee arrangement.
- Experience working with autistic and learning support student populations.
- Ability to provide teletherapy services combined with SLPA support if not onsite.
