Teletherapy Speech Language Pathologist in PA
A full-time virtual speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available to support students in grades 5 through 12. This role involves providing teletherapy and telespeech services within a structured school setting from August 24th through June 4th. The schedule aligns with Middle School hours (approximately 8:25 AM to 3:25 PM) and High School hours (7:00 AM to 2:30 PM), offering a consistent 37.5-hour workweek.
Responsibilities include delivering speech therapy and participating in meetings, primarily supporting students in less intensive classes and older grade levels, while in-person SLPs handle elementary and PreK-4 caseloads along with evaluations. The caseload will be maintained within the state cap of 65 students. Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), especially with systems such as Proloquo, is highly valuable, as the school has expanded autism support programs with over 15 new classrooms this year.
Key qualifications and desired experience:
- Certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Proven skills in teletherapy and telespeech service delivery
- Familiarity with school-based SLP responsibilities and IEP documentation using IEP writer software
- Experience working with students utilizing AAC devices, particularly Proloquo
- Ability to maintain caseloads in compliance with state regulations
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration in virtual and school settings
Location: Reading, PA (virtual service delivery)
