Teletherapy Speech Language Pathologist in PA
Gilbertsville, PA
A virtual Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to provide teletherapy services for students in grades 5 through 12. This full-time contract assignment includes approximately 37.5 hours per week, with schedules aligned to middle and high school hours (middle school: 8:25 AM to 3:25 PM; high school: 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM). The assignment runs from August 24th through June 4th.
Responsibilities include delivering speech-language therapy services and participating in meetings as needed, primarily supporting students in less intensive classrooms, while on-site SLPs will serve PreK to 4th grades and handle evaluations. Caseloads are maintained within the state cap of 65 students.
Key qualifications and experience desired:
- Licensure and experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in school settings
- Proficient in telespeech and teletherapy methods
- Skilled in working with students with autism spectrum disorder; familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), especially Proloquo, highly preferred
- Comfortable using IEP writer software for documenting services and meetings
- Ability to collaborate through weekly meetings and support structures to integrate smoothly into the school environment
