A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services for students in grades K-8. This role focuses on delivering speech therapy across elementary and middle school levels via virtual platforms.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing tailored speech-language services to students in grades K-5 and 6-8 through telespeech methods
- Collaborating with a dedicated facilitator who supports student pull-out sessions for focused therapy
- Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and tracking student progress
- Maintaining clear and professional communication with school staff and families regarding student development
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience delivering telespeech or virtual speech therapy services, preferably in school settings
- Ability to work effectively with children across multiple age groups, especially K-8
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage remote therapy schedules and documentation
Location: This role is based in Metairie, LA, with services delivered remotely through telespeech.
